OUR FACILITIES
The Columbus School is set on the outskirts of Medellin on a 22 hectare property at Alto de Las Palmas, at 2,400 meters (7,874 feet) above sea level. This privileged location provides a rustic and natural environment, ideal for all types of academic, sports and artistic activities.
The School was designed in accordance with XXI century academic needs, offering our students the opportunity to live in harmony with nature and at the same time grow with state of the art technological benefits.
Our campus is divided into three schools: Elementary School, Middle School and High School. They benefit from modern buildings for academic, sports, recreational and artistic activities.
To practice different sports we have:
- 6 soccer fields.
- 4 multi-sports fields.
- 3 volleyball and basketball courts.
- 1 softball field.
- 1 BMX track.
- 1 athletic track.
Art is also a priority for our educational system, so we have built a comprehensive Fine Arts building with 8 specialized classrooms:
- 3 plastic arts classrooms.
- 2 band halls perfectly equipped with musical instruments.
- 1 choir hall.
- 1 photography room.
- 1 mechanical design room.
In addition, the School has a theater for 273 people and an art gallery. These are ideal spaces for students to show their talents and abilities.
